Venice returns to my imagination in recurring waves — a persistent, liquid form of beauty. Each time I arrive, regardless of season or the weight of the days, the city greets me with a suspended stillness, a kind of silence that seems to dilate time. It’s a place that invites a different kind of listening, where matter and water speak in continuity, and architecture becomes an interior landscape.

During a quiet pause in a small bar, I met a girl. Her name was Sole. There was something about her that felt intrinsically linked to the city — a calm lightness, a way of moving that echoed the rhythm of the lagoon. The idea of a photoshoot emerged without intention, almost as a natural extension of that quiet moment.

We followed the light and the reflections, allowing the surroundings to shape our gestures more than any predefined plan. The Jupiter jewels she wore seemed to enter into a dialogue with the textures of the city — the time-worn stone, the slow-moving water, the translucent air. More than a photographic session, it became a perceptual exercise.

Looking back at those images feels like returning to a form of spontaneous beauty — subtle yet grounding, like certain places or encounters that, without asking for attention, remain with you.
